A family business built to last
Big State Roof Solutions was built by Sonny, whose commitment to quality workmanship and treating customers like family continues to guide the company today. His wife, Cheryl, serves as our Director of Business Development, helping build lasting relationships with homeowners and our local community.
Their son, Josh, is also stepping into a leadership role as Vice President, carrying the family business into its next generation.
Together, the family is building more than a roofing company — they're building a business rooted in trust, integrity, craftsmanship, and community.

A family team you can trust
You'll deal with Sonny and Josh — not a call center
Sonny McClamrock built Big State Roof Solutions on faith, integrity and hard work, and he still walks every job himself. His son Josh runs daily operations and is the face you've probably seen explaining roofing online.
We live in these communities. That's the whole difference between us and the out-of-state crews that show up after a hailstorm and disappear before the warranty matters.

“Sonny and his crews did a great job replacing my roof using superior GAF composite shingles. They started early and were done by midafternoon, including cleanup. I would recommend Big State to anyone looking for a roof replacement.”
“Both Sonny and Josh provided excellent service. Their crew came early and took care of covering plants, the AC, and anything that needed to be moved. Worked and finished the roof in 1 day. Very professional and also honest folks.”
